Batam.

This was our humble room for the 3 days and 2 nights we stayed at batam. Since 5 people in a room including me, my parents decide to book an executive room.

It has its own hall and also a bedroom that is parted by a sliding door. It also have a bath tub and a mini balcony.

For the first day we didn't do anything much. Since my father was tired from the journey, we pretty much just stayed in the room. The only time we went out was to the swimming pool or to buy food.

Our family loves swimming so the pool wasn't that up to our usual expectation, but it was good enough to have a little fun especially my two younger siblings

Before swimming, me and my father went out to get some food and apparently, the KFC there is much more delicious and finger licking good compared to Singapore outlets. Can you believe that? Hhhahhahahaa.

Not forgetting the instant cup noodles that need to be stocked up just because we are constantly hungry everytime we goes on a trip.

For the second day, it was much more productive. We went back to the kampung or village which some of you may called it, but this is a different type of kampung. The house is right above the sea and if you have any trash that you need to dispose.. You just threw it out from your windows Hahahahaha. Yes I am serious.

The owner of the house served us lunch and to be honest I wasn't enjoying the food much.

Right after this.. We went to another house which is located near the Batak society. Batak is mostly Indonesian whose religion is Christian, if I'm not wrong. Apologies if I'm wrong.

Next stop, the owner of the second house wanted to treat all of us lunch so he took us to the nearest restaurant (but more to a coffee shop).

I wasn't really hungry so I just bought snack to munch on. In batam, Teh Botol is a must!

Shall continue in another blog post.
