That Saturday.

Miam miam located at level one of west gate

Had a little bruch before I headed to work that particular Saturday. 

The food was good, really good. It wasn't disappointing at all.

I had the squid ink rice with Omu omelet and he had the miam miam spaghetti. Additional we ordered the oh so famous French toast with chocolate sauce by the side. It was an indeed a satisfying brunch. 

The downside was that the portion to me was okay, just nice but for a person who is a big eater... It won't be enough. Haha.

That friday.

I went out by myself on that particular Friday since I got myself a last minute annual leave from my duty supervisor. 

Since I was done doing my makeup for work, it will be a waste of product of i were to wipe off and stay home isn't? 

Then I decided to spent time alone at jem. 

So I went to stop by at Mado, to have a little tea time wih myself. The waffles and ice cream was great. The recommended cranberry tea was on point too. It was really a good tea time for me.

Oh I am back? It's been so so so long since I updated my blog. There is alotnof things in my mind and I jut couldn't seems to have time to sit down and reflect/type down what I've been doing on that day itself.

Dan's birthday week (birthday present)

So as you all know Dan is my boyfriend, so its my duty to make him happy on his birthday. So i decided to celebrate his birthday for a week. Therefore his birthday week. 

The day after his birthday, i decided to treat him to lunch and a movie since he was dying to watch Expendables 2.

And after that we went to tangs to buy him a birthday present that was a Michael Kors watch. I love how happy he was after purchasing that watch.

The food is ate wasn't that great. It was so dry. i didn't take a close up photo of the photo because it wasn't that great and I didn't enjoy it :/
Dan had the steak and I had the chicken and the cheese fries was aslo not that great.
Everything dry.

Feeling a little blue

As lost of you would know, it's raya season. It's where Muslim come and celebrate then end of Ramadan (1 month of fasting) 

For a full timer like me, I don't get much off time to celebrate raya every weekends or weekdays. So if I get the chance I would really dressed up. 

I've been into eye make up for certain occasion. 

Since Dan bought me a ton of Lancôme and YSL eyeshadow palettes, I decide to pop some blue on to my eyes. 

Beautiful colours don't you think? And it's highly pigmented!

Brookie

This is my first topshop shorts I ever bought. Don't judge. 

The style I bought was brookie. Well there were others that I wanted to choose beside this but unfortunately, they didn't have my size. Sigh. 

Not forgetting they have some kind of promotion going on 30% of all denim shorts and certain tops I think. For both topman and topshop.

All thanks to my very good friend who gave me a gift card, I didn't need to pay with my own money! Hehe 

Next purchase was Mac studio finish concealer. It's been a long time since I purchase this item. Back to basic.

If you guys was wondering I am using NC35.

The last purchase I bought was a tooth earrings from H&M. It was on sale, I got it for about $2 SUCH A STEAL RIGHT?!

Today was some how a me day because after all this mini shopping, I went to catch a movie alone, yes alone, at yishun. I think it was called deliver us from hell, to be honest the movie wasn't that scary and it was just okay to me. I was kinda bored after a while hahahaha. Well that's my opinion.

Short update.

Hello dear readers! Yes it's been a long long time since i update this blog of mine. To be honest, I was busy and I seldom have free time to sit down, switch on my laptop and blogged. Since I am a iPhone user, blogging will be much easier as I could blog on my way home or even at work. 

So what I've been up to? 

I am officially 21 years old, no there wasn't any party or any of type of celebrations. 

On the day of my birthday. I was at work having night shift. Speaking of night shift, I've been occupying myself by reading (the picture above) on my iPhone. It really helps with the quietness which unusually gets during my night shift.

Since I am 21, I thought of buying myself birthday gift.. 

I bought a Marc by Marc Jacobs wallet

Lipstick I ordered online since I could get it in Singapore. And many more. If you want to see more of the presents I bought myself, just comment on this blogpost and I would love to read it :)

Like finally I am back huh? Work have been draining my energy like nobody's business. 

But I am here now aren't i? 

Anyway, I've been going out during my limited off days just to relax and meet my one and only. Not forgetting my friends too. I don't have enough time to socialise that much recently :( 

And i am officially broke. Pay faster come!!

Let's start with the recent "break" I had, it was today. Right after my shift, I met up with my poly friend, Yuri. I have pictures of us together but whatever. 

Had our lunch at coffee bean and I was kind satisfied with what I bought.

This is my lunch. Smoked salmon with egg together with Ciabatta bread.

The salmon was heavenly. 

Yuri ordered Cabonara. Together with my red velvet hot cocoa, everything was perfect :)

I ordered the standard Nasi Ayam Penyet but Dan ordered the boneless chicken. 

Both were delicious. Not forgetting the chilli paste is oh so spicy, it will leave your tongue a tingling sensation. mmmm~ 

Right at the basement of Far East, FRIED MARS BALL~

Since I've not been posting anything lately, let's have a quick update about me!

1. I am currently on the floor with my laptop typing this post. 

2. I am eating ice cream while typing.

3. I am occupied by my work lately :( 

4. My schedule is really shitty. 

5. Yes, I am currently a full timer at NUH

6. My first night shift is today. 

Shall update more interesting stuff here soon! Planning to watch Occulus in cinema on the weekends? If it is possible. Stay tune, I might do a review about it.

To be honest this is my first time being/ stepped on Dempsey Hill. Yes I live under a rock. HAHAHA.

Thanks to Dan's mum who invited me to have lunch with his sister and Dan himself, I guess to show her appreciation (because I help her with her work) and also to "celebrate" his sister's 22nd birthday. 

Initially I wasn't allowed to go out because I was grounded. I am lucky enough to be granted a go. 

So they fetch me from my area and off we go to Demsey hill ~

Didn't took pictures there because I was so caught up in the moment. It's too fancy for me. 

I went online and search for the menu that they offered. 

What I ordered was the fish and chips. 

Top up to get an additional soup and beverages. 

Afterwards, we did have a desert which is the lava cake. 

Overall the food is good. Good experience indeed.

Along that area, we notice Ben and Jerry's. Since it was the free cone day, we decided to queue for it. 

Throwback moment now, Dan and I did try to get our free cone last year at The Cathay but the queue was so long that we decided to just purchase our ice cream while watching the others queue for free cone. HHAHAHAH.

I am really happy that I finally get my hands on a free ice cream. HAHAHAH. 

You can tell that I was busy enjoying my ice cream.

Since I am just the follower in this trip, I followed them to fetch Dan's father from work and also collected his sister's birthday cake.

treasure from mum closet.

I received a few vintage clothes from my mum recently and I really loving the type of style they are in? Does that makes sense? A disclaimer :- I am not trying to show that I am an expert in fashion or whatsoever. I just wear, mix and match what I think look good on me and I like it. I am just saying.

Well basically what I received : 

1. Navy coloured crop blazer. 

The blazer is not structured and fitted, it's more boxy since it is kind of oversize. I am not really sure how or where I am going to wear this but I pretty sure I can cme out with something. I mean you can keep it casual or professional when you are wearing blazer. 

This just a rough idea how I am going to style casually, suitable for girls day out or just chilling with your partner or just being lazy but still want to look good. HAHAHA.

2. Denim overall. 

This can be styled in a lot of different ways. I wore this when Dan ask me out to the movies. Don't mind the face. 

I just wore a H&M stripe top underneath. Simple. 

3. Two piece of sheer crochet type top? 

I really not sure what to call it. HAHAH. 

It comes with a sheer button down with delicate detailson the sleeves and pearls sew on the collar.

and a sleeveless top with details on the bottom of the top and tiny flower on the top itself.

It is a beautiful piece and the camera didn't do it's justice.
